Has anyone enabled the Paypal Express button?

I was wondering if anyone has enabled the Paypal Express button, and in that case if it works correctly.

In my cart, every time I click on the Paypal express button it send me to a product page where it shows on the top of the page the error: "1002: you don't have permission to make this API call".

I asked the support, they asked the developers and the developers say there's no error. However, the error always shows up no matter what browser I use. If I go on I can complete the order, so this isn't probably anything important, but I think that such error message would kill conversion, so I was forced to disable the button.
