AB + BB Updates

Hey all, not worth a support ticket because me thinks I know what the problem is.

AB doesn't let me select categories anymore for my new articles. It does not move past that point in the system, rather it just estimates how many directories the article will reach.

Is this because of the new AB Steve mentioned in the IMA webinar?

(And if so, is April still the deadline for this to be working.......)

I don't know the last time you used AB, but as far as I can remember they changed that a LONG time ago! You don't choose the category in step 3, they just post it to the directories.

yup...correct..when we moved to our own directories...but, we may change this again...for now, though...it's a feature.

Oh ok. It still has no submit button though. Thus the article is simply in my saved section rather than the 'pending approval area'

Support ticket? Or am I doing something wrong?

Still in the "Articles in Progress" section?

There's something about it that isn't complete...did you do three versions of each article?
Check your body, summary and about author as well. Sounds like there is something you did wrong

Once it is all done, it will go to the "Articles pending directory submission" and you can submit it.

I think you still have to check a box off as you go through the process to submit them to the internal directories....instead of the old "select your directories" box.

There's no box to tick for directories on Step 3, it's done automatically.

Let us know what the problem is when you find it... curious

Just did a submittal yesterday.
After you enter the three versions of the article using the "Vers" button, I would hit "save", then hit the return button to go back to Home.
At the top of the page, you should see your pending article with some buttons next to it. The last one is the submit button. I could not get the article to submit from the directories page.
