Do I need Tax ID If I'm making money online?

Hi,

I'm from Mexico and right now I'm making money from $1,000 to $2,000 per month approximately.

My question is: Do I need Tax ID with those profits or not?

Is your business registered in Mexico or is if a U.S. entity? If it is a U.S. entity, you need to register and pay taxes in the state that it is registered in. There are five states that do not have any sales & use taxes, so in those cases, there is no tax to pay.

If you are a registered business in Mexico, you need to know what the laws are in your country/municipality and I can't help you with that one.
