I'm a big HippJaw Fan as well, but Chip isn't 100% correct here.

HJ also has a campaign builder, which allows you to setup Adwords campaigns with 1 adgroup per keyword.
HJ also is a great Tracking Tool. That's something AdGrenade or SpeedPPC can not do.

But for setting up Adwords or Yahoo or MSN / Bing campaigns, AdGrenade and SpeedPPC offer a lot more features than HJ at the moment.

But for most tasks, HJ is just fine. But if you want more flexibility and more features, you should take a look at AG / SpeedPPC.

Perhaps my reply should have been exhaustive...

IMO, any piece of software that is a perfect mirror image/copy of another has no place in the market.  It is just another "Me, too copycat."  I should have been more specific I suppose...

The main problem with AG is the lack of support. I hate to bash Chris, but just look at all of the posts stating that he will not respond.

I will never buy a product that I don't think will be supported.

How many of us would be here if Steve, Tim, Chip, or Phil didn't do their job?

I have to agree. I know this thread is a bunch of posts just repeating themselves at this point, but I'll say it again: I'm really disapointed, since I really feel that AG is a great product, it just needs to be updated to keep current (and a little tech support now and then wouldn't be a bad thing either I guess).

Matt,

you say updated to be current. Would be great to know what's not working for you? Do you have problems with Adwords campaigns?
Or is one of the others MSN / Yahoo not working?

Haven't tested MSN / Bing, so it could be that something has changed here?

Thanks

Hey anyword on Chris's wherabouts or support?

Just bought a new PC and can't seem to locate my unlock code.  I haven't looked at HippoJaw as I was very happy with ADGrenade.  But if I don;t hear back from support at AG I gues it's over to HJ.

I don't think anyone has heard anything from Chris in the last 6 months or so.

I don't know what his situation is, but it doesn't look good.

Sorry!

Cheers John

I sincerely hope Chris is alright, as the dealings I had with him over 12 mths ago for AG support was very good and extremely helpful.

Looks like I'll head over to HippoJaw.

What a shame, Adgrenade was/is a good product. To bad Chris has not kept up with his buyers/subscribers here.

After reloaded AG, needed a new license key to acitvate

Sent emails to Chris, but never got any reply from him.  Angry

I think we need to put his picture on the side of a milk carton!

I did a search on the internet and found out his home phone number.   So if anyone really needs to check further, you can also do a little detective work and find that number in whitepages.com.  Google is good for something.

Yes, it really is his number.
