I'm having major problems with Adwords Editor. I'm following the video instructions to a tea on how to build a campaign with Hippo Jaw, but the campaign simply will not load into AE. I've been at this for two hours and I'm very frustrated! Please help!

Hi,
I just did on one last night for the first time in a long time and followed the vide and it was fine.
Kind of hard to diagnose for you - maybe open a support ticket.
Only issue was forgetting to click the "My Keyword information below includes columns etc" box.
All the best...Sam

AE keeps trying to build 4 new campaign (The amount of ad groups) instead of 1. Worse yet, when I try to load the ads in the third and final step, AE says they are unrecognized and will not be added.

I would delete everything in AE and start again, making sure to click that box I mentioned.
The video talks about having a valid compaign set up in Adwords, I did that and had a problem loading the one I created in AE, so, I deleted that and just worked with the one I created in HJ, seemed to work fine, you just need to make changes to the Adwords Campaign Settings such as Budget etc.
BTW, I didnt use the Create Campaign in AE, just loaded the Ad Groups and it automatically created the Campaign.
All the best..>Sam

Sam, I followed your advice. When I go to load the ad groups in AE from HippoJaw (First step), AE is trying to create 4 new campaigns (There are 4 keywords in this ad group). Also, and equally as frustrating, on the third step when I paste in the ads, I keep getting an error message that says "ads not recognized".

Sam,
I figured out the problem. HippoJaw was creating elements of the campaign builder with spaces in between the characters.
Example:
xxxxxxxxx yyyyyyyyyyyyy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
So I copied the info, pasted it into notepad and got rid of the spaces:
xxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Then I pasted this back into AE, and it worked fine.
I have no idea why HippoJaw is creating it that way, or why AE won't accept it, but that fixed the problem!
Brad.
