I want to do some advanced correlation with HippoJaw (and excel) beyond the reports currently offered. I drafted a post a week or two ago asking for the world, then I didn't post it because the fact of the matter is I don't know precisely what reports to ask you guys to create.

What I do know is that I would like to be able to correlate visits, hops, and conversions (VHC) beyond the four reports currently offered (keywords, landing page, search phrase, referrer).  The current set of reports allows analysis of VHC for each report separately from the others.

But what if I want to know what search phrases are bringing traffic to which landing pages from each referrer?   They would likely tell different stories about what is working differently in each search engine, and provide some hints about how to better exploit that traffic source.

Without requesting you guys to do a lot of work to create complicated new reports that may or may not turn out to be useful, I was thinking it might be reasonable to simply provide an option on each report to include tracking IDs as a data field. This way I could run the different reports, export to CSV, and use a tool like excel to correlate the various views based on the tracking IDs.

So, my request is this: please consider adding tracking ID to the existing reports so that users could export each of the four reports detailed down to tracking IDs for off line analysis using excel or similar tools that can import CSV data files.

thanks for your consideration,

-- Ed
